Before going to vacation I realized that I only have computer which is connected directly to internet and no WiFi at all available at the location of my vacation. At home I have an old Belkin WiFi stick which I thought to through away several times and kept forgetting. I felt that this stick would be useful for connecting my smartphone via WiFi at my vacation location. Well, I simply didnt know how to do it. But this time I decided to investigate the possibility. To make things short – I made it and apparently all process is not difficult at all.

Oh no, USB mass storage is gone on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Samsung Galaxy S II. We should be able to use USB storage mode when enable USB debugging in Gingerbread. But it is not working on Android 4.0.3 ICS Samsung Galaxy S2. I have 2 options ~ Media device (MTP) and Camera (PTP) modes to choose only. No worry, USB storage mode is still available on Android 4.0 ICS Samsung Galaxy S2 but located in other place…How to enable USB mass storage on Android 4.0 ICS Samsung Galaxy S2?

A caveat about my instructional posts in general… I am a user, and not that much of a power user at that. I know what I know about computers mostly through trial and error. If I state something and there is a better way to do it, please say so. I also tend to be over thorough and explain things as if everyone was a beginner… this is a result of my early thrashings and gnashings with Linux where I wished someone would do the same and where I discovered how much outdated/conflicting/plain old wrong information there is out there. roll Sorry in advance for that…
