winposreadyAs you might know by now, the Windows XP official support has discontinued from 8 april 2014 but not everything is as simple as stop serving on billions of machines using windows XP as the main operational system. Many corporations that hold service terminals, would have to spend enormous mount of money to update their computers to the new required level.

eBay Inc. To Ask eBay Users To Change Passwords

(Nasdaq: EBAY) said beginning later today it will be asking eBay users to change their passwords because of a cyberattack that compromised a database containing encrypted passwords and other non-financial data. After conducting extensive tests on its networks, the company said it has no evidence of the compromise resulting in unauthorized activity for eBay users, and no evidence of any unauthorized access to financial or credit card information, which is stored separately in encrypted formats. However, changing passwords is a best practice and will help enhance security for eBay users.

Are Google Glass your dream?

A lot more people are about to get a chance to buy Google Glass, the Internet-connected eyewear that has become the hottest accessory in geek fashion.

Google will sell the gadget to any U.S. resident who places an online order on Tuesday only, beginning at 9 a.m. The product will cost $1,500, the same price that Google Inc. has charged since it began selling the device to its testers last year, the company said Thursday.

Good bye Ubuntu One

downloadUbuntu decided to discontinue it’s cloud service ubuntu one:

We are sorry to notify you that we will be shutting down the Ubuntu One file services, effective 1 June 2014.

It is no longer possible to purchase storage or music from the Ubuntu One store. The Ubuntu One file services apps in the Ubuntu, Google, and Apple stores have been removed.
