In His service

The end of one more year is near, very soon there will be celebrations, parties and season greetings. I will not tell these greetings just yet, this is not the last news I will wite in this year. Just wanted to say a couple of words about how we live and what we do now, and how was our time was here at Restenas/Sweden

For the last few months I was involved in the ministry of programming in our base as well as internationally. I was helping UniQuip (http://www.uofn.edu/uniquip/index.html) with compiling registration form for the event in Amsterdam. On the base I take responsibilities for the website as well as I'm doing monthly update of the staff phone list. Last few months I also was sending out email with our base newsletter. In one of my previous articles I told you about a gift in form of old Palm pilot, that I received from my friend, and how it wa influencing my work quality, well, my beloved wife gave me yet another present - nice and new communicator HP iPAQ 614c. Now all my tasks and appointments are there.

Irina is taking care of the boys Stefan and Matvej. She is doing amaizing work, I dont think that I would be able to do even halve of what she is doing. Couple of days ago, I stayed with Matvej and Stefan for couple of hours, and I hardly survived... specially when Matvej wanted to eat but refused to even see the bottle. And this is only two boy we are talking about, imagine there is yet another boy with some gray hair comes home and want this and that, oh boy, that must be something.

Stefan is growing and starts to speak a lot, sometimes I remember the time when we were thinking: when there would be a time when Stefan would speak and tell what he needs. Well, the time is here, or it has already passed? Now we are thinking of times when Stefan will start to speak English and Swedish. We have a little kind of Sunday school here on the base and Stefan is joyfully going there, and playing with other kids. I hope he will pick language from there.

Matvej is also growing, even faster than Stefan, that is how it suppose to be. He starts to speak also, if you know what I mean. He smiles a lot, tries to sing together with me. And... sometimes he is in bad mood, he cryes.

Thats how we live now, I'll try to describe more in our newsletter in a few days. So, will hear from you then?
