Stefan is ONE year old
Today our beloved Stefan has become one year old! It's kind of difficult to imagine how fast he became that "old" but I guess this is alwais like that.
We had really good time with the base people celebrating Stefan's birthday, there are lots of kids about the same age on the base and most of them came to celebrate with Stefan. Mommy made a beautiful birthday cake and there were a lot of presents which Stefan has opened home later that evening. Our friend and leader hosted this party for us, since we just arrived to Sweden and didt fill our flat with a lot of firniture yet.Praise The Lord for keeping our little one in His hands.
We are in Sweden
Yep, we made it! We are finally in Sweden, on the base called Restenas, near the village called Ljungskile.
Here is Google Earth satelite view of our base:
My leg is fine
Finally I can walk as I used to. My leg is completely fine and I'm not leaping. I have a little unconfortable feeling to go up and down the stairs but there is no other problems. I hope that metal plates will be removed from my leg in close future, or I wont remember them anymore.
Thank you for all your prayers for me
Happy comming Easter!!!
Dear friends, it's over 2000 years now when we've got an opportunity to call each other and ourselves Brothers and Sisters. The Lord gave us this opportunity through His suffering and death on the cross. To be Brothers and Sisters in Him, means to be born again and alive with Him, in His Body, which is in heaven already. So, our hope for eternal life is as firm as we already have it now. It's difficult to imagine what could happen if there wouldn't be this death and resurrection, but we do have all of it, we are dead for the world and resurrected in Jesus. Let us rejoice in this wonderful act of life.
The Lord has risen indeed!
Little Stefan wants to stand!
Our little Stefan already tries to stand up. He grabs anything around and stands up. And he likes the process! He even cries sometimes when it doesnt work to lift himself up. We hope to see him standing firm and trying to walk soon. That's a huge joy for us and our parents to see Stefan doing that.
Insurance company negotiations result
Dear friends, today we went to the insurance company of the driver of car that hit me, and we were told that they wont pay a cent to me. We wre told that we have to collect a few more documents to get at least half of the claimed mount of money. The reason is uncertainty of the conclusion made by police. Also my doctor couldnt give prescribtions for a few most expensive things like cast, knee brace, and some expensive medications. The problem is that doctors in Russia are not allowed to prescribe expensive but effective medications and that's why insurance cannot cover our expensies. Also police station was probably bribed by the driver to close the case without conclusion about someone's guilt. This way I became guilty in the excident, because I "didn't stop before the moving car".
Well, I'm very upset with all the lows and work of Russian police and all burocracy again. It's difficult to get these news, but thank to God He has covered our needs through your help to us.
I'm allowed to walk!
After last check up with my doctor, he told me that everything is okay with my leg, and I don't need to go to hospital reabilitation. I was allowed to step on my leg and increase pressure by 10% a week rather than 5% before. In two weeks (now only in one) I was allowed to use just one of my crutches, and in two more weeks, I can start to use small stick. That is the progress!

YURY'S LEG IS GETTING BETTER
After car exident 28.12.2005 I've got my knee broken and I was operated in the beginning of this year. I think my doctor was sent by God, as he did very good job and I can bend my knee already more than 90 degrees after a little more than a week after cast removal.
However, I don't know yet when I'll be able to walk, and walk with no crutches. Will see the doctor again in beginning of the next week and then I'll know more.
